The Brookwood Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is a strong and vital part of our wonderful Brookwood community. Brookwood prides itself on the strong parent involvement we have each year. There are many opportunities to participate and volunteer throughout the year and we encourage you to join in the fun!

Brookwood Elementary School is committed to a program of academic excellence that challenges and assists each child in achieving his or her potential. We promote the development of a safe, supportive school community that fosters social growth, responsibility, and respect.

 

Become a PTA Member

The most important reason to become involved in our PTA is to benefit your child and by doing this you will also benefit our school. There are so many advantages to participating in the PTA. The following are just a few.

 

  • Connect: Stay up to date on Brookwood events and activities through our PTA website, newsletter and social media sites.

  • Get Involved: We offer a variety of programs and activities designed for students as well as parents. These include STEAM Night, Veteran’s Day Assembly, Ice Cream Social, Spring Carnival, and clubs such as Mathletics, Running Club, Do Good Club and Chat-n- Chew as well as the Scholastic book fair. We host many Staff Appreciation events as well as Teacher Stipends and Mini-Grants to empower our teachers.

  • Have a Voice: Our PTA is a forum for exchanging ideas. By attending and participating in our quarterly PTA meetings you can help advocate for our children to create positive change.

  • Foster Improvements: As a member of the PTA, you will be part of the solution and can help make positive changes. Your involvement can support building improvements and play an important role in fundraising for curriculum-based programs.

  • Be a Role Model: By participating in the PTA, you will be demonstrating to your child the importance that you place on education.

  • Build our Community: Meeting other Brookwood families that share the same commitment to our children will help strengthen our Brookwood community.
